Chamber Speaks on Importance of Early Education & Care

On February 8, 2017, Chamber President Jim Rooney joined Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo and other members of the Early Education & Care Business Advisory Group to announce the findings and recommendations related to improving development, professionalizing and retaining the early education and care workforce. Workforce development - informing and directing efforts that cultivate a talented workforce - is a key public policy priority for the Chamber, and we will continue to be engaged on this early education effort.
