Women's Leadership Program

Though women make up more than 50% of the Greater Boston workforce, they are underrepresented in leadership positions.

The Women's Leadership Program was founded in 2010 to fill a gap in professional women's-specific leadership development. To date, we've graduated over 820 women from across industries, sectors, and roles.

This is designed to help you invest in your organization's emerging female leaders through a year-long tailored professional development program that empowers women leaders with the skills and a network they need to excel in their own careers and to create conditions for other women to thrive.

Your participants will have access to top faculty from our academic partner, Simmons University, and will hear from inspiring Greater Boston female leaders from all sectors. They'll leave with experiences, skills, and connections that will serve them throughout their careers.

I was able to recognize my self-worth and more importantly how to define my thoughts in a professional and thoughtful way, leading to a promotion and raise.

— Maggie Mccuen, Director Corporate Communications, Natixis Investment Managers

All In For Advancement

Improve your organization’s culture to retain and advance women.

Lead in creating a groundswell of support for women in the workforce by sending up to four individuals through our All in for Advancement program. This yearlong, co-ed, group leadership program is designed to support organizations as they shape and shift their culture towards gender equity and inclusivity.

All In's mission is to develop leaders who will have a positive impact on their office cultures by helping them gain a deeper understanding of gender acumen and inclusion and providing them with the learning tools needed to achieve inclusivity in the Greater Boston business community. We do this with our academic partner, Babson College, using their Entrepreneurial Thought & Action® model and through tailored group coaching to provide the support your participants will need to launch a scalable pilot effort to promote inclusion at your organization.

Through their focus on entrepreneurial thinking, the incredible Babson faculty gave our team a unique template for analyzing the issues of gender disparity in the workplace, and actionable tools for enhancing gender acumen. We were also able to connect with other Leading Boston companies and Learn from the collective experiences in trying to tackle these challenges.

— Kenneth Leonetti, Co-Managing Partner, Foley Hoag, 2019 INfluencer

New England Board Ready Women

Co-sponsored by Deloitte and the Women's Network, Board Ready is an educational and networking program for senior female executives who have the interest and experience to be considered for nomination to a public company board or directorship.

This program is intended to address the critical business issue of board diversity by preparing high-performing senior executive women to serve on a corporate board. Members of the program participate in a series of interactive, workshop-style sessions that focus on topics ranging from personal brand to shareholder activism to legal considerations of board membership, and more.

Because of Deloitte's passion for the topic of women's advancement, and the enthusiasm we share with the Chamber, we chose to focus our board-readiness efforts on women. Our hope is that participation in this program will expand networks and build a stronger pipeline of qualified women board candidates.
