The Future of Global Technology - How Can Boston Position Itself for Success?
Have you heard? MITX and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) are joining forces. Join us for our first co-event.
Greater Boston is the third-fastest growing tech hub according to a 2019 report from Indeed Hiring Labs, and our region is home to the most talented workforce in the country. Yet persistent issues like the high cost of living, lack of affordable housing, an aging public transportation system, and economic disparity are threatening our long-term competitiveness. What will it take for us to take our spot as the leading hub of technology?
At our April 15 event, we will try to answer this question with a focus on the challenges, opportunities, and work ahead for Boston as we look to further grow our global reputation and impact in the technology and innovation space.
The event will include:
· A panel showcasing companies and leaders that were built in Boston;
· discussion about pressing policy issues facing tech and broader business community;
· design thinking roundtables that empower you to imagine solutions that will push Boston forward; and,
· a networking reception for idea sharing and collaboration.
This event is open to members of GBCC, MITX, and BIMA. If you are a MITX member, that means you are also a GBCC member. GBCC members now have access to MITX programming too.
