Statement of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce: In Solidarity
"The tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and other Black people throughout the country are not just horrific events happening someplace else. These racially motivated acts against both men and women impact us in Greater Boston and the Commonwealth, and we collectively mourn and seek justice with and for our fellow Americans. Business leaders, community leaders, and residents must strive to create an equitable society where people of all racial backgrounds can economically thrive, engage in their pursuit of happiness, and live without fear or violence. We in Greater Boston stand in solidarity with the citizens of Minneapolis during this difficult time."
