The Chamber’s
Annual Events & Award Ceremonies offer members a
chance to honor members of the Greater Boston
business and government community and connect
with peers in a more social environment.
ANNUAL
MEETING & DINNER
Held in May,
this event is the high point of the Chamber’s
program calendar and among the largest
gatherings of business leaders in Greater
Boston, attracting more than 1,000 attendees. A
highlight of the program is the induction of one
or more accomplished citizens into the Academy
of Distinguished Bostonians.

will be held on May 19, 2009,
at the
Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
ANNUAL
HOLIDAY RECEPTION
The Holiday
reception is a traditional highlight of Boston’s
holiday season and provides an opportunity to
meet the region’s leaders and newsmakers from
business and government.
CHAMBER GOLF
& TENNIS TOURNAMENT
The annual
Chamber Golf and Tennis Tournament underscores
the Chamber’s summer programs calendar. Chamber
members are encouraged to network with
colleagues as they compete on the course or the
court.
PINNACLE AWARDS
These annual
awards honor business and professional women who
have demonstrated excellence in
entrepreneurship, management, and lifetime
achievement. Held in January, The Pinnacle
Award Luncheon is one of the Chamber’s largest
events, with more than 1,000 people in
attendance.

SMALL
BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARDS
Presented
annually since 1985, these awards recognize the
contributions and achievements of one or more
outstanding small businesses in the Greater
Boston area.
The 2008 Small Business
of the Year Awards will be held on Thursday,

CHAMBER NIGHT
AT THE RED SOX
This annual
outing to Fenway Park is a popular highlight of
the summer. The event includes a pre-game
reception and the opportunity to enjoy a Sox
game with 250 fellow members and co-workers.
ANNUAL SUMMER RECEPTION
Chamber
members gather on the roof of the new Taj Boston Hotel (formerly the Ritz-Carlton) to enjoy a spectacular view
of Boston’s skyline while socializing with their
peers at this popular summer after-hours event.
