BOSTON
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ON TIDELANDS BILL SIGNING
“We applaud the Governor, Senate President, and Speaker of the House for passing this important legislation. In order to encourage job creation and cultivate sites important to our leading industries, it is essential that we create a welcoming environment for developers. This legislation removes a great deal of uncertainty in the permitting process, and protects many current sites from unnecessary confusion and delays. The successful collaboration between administration officials,
legislative leaders, and the employer community in passing this bill is a great model to build on as we continue to address crucial competitiveness issues in the weeks and months ahead.”
