The Greater Boston Chamber is the lead voice for our region’s growing business community. We provide our members with strategic networking, powerful advocacy, and a commitment to creating the next generation of leaders.
Policy Initiatives:
The Chamber is focused on initiatives designed to improve the climate for small business in Massachusetts, advocating for health care cost relief, improved incentives for energy efficiency, expanding the supply of skilled workers, and streamlining business regulations.
The Chamber has been instrumental in securing the following key wins for the business community:
- Unemployment insurance rate freeze resulting in substantial savings to employers
- “3-in-3 investment” bill aimed at stimulating investment in our region’s start-ups
- Business tax reform package designed to enhance fairness and predictability for companies
Free Programs to Attend:
The Greater Boston Chamber hosts more than 100 programs annually – empowering members with unique opportunities to share knowledge and build their professional networks.
Annual Events:
The Chamber hosts several annual events that attract participation from Chamber members in a variety of industries.
- Small Business of the Year Awards: Held in October, the Chamber recognizes the region’s top ten small and growing businesses for their bold vision, growth, and outstanding achievements in workplace excellence, product innovation, and social responsibility.
- Business Showcase & Taste of the Chamber: Chamber members have the opportunity to connect with Greater Boston’s outstanding small businesses and restaurants. Held in the summer, members can purchase exhibit space and taste tables, and attendance is free.
