Chamber Centennial Celebration.

Chamber Centennial Celebration
Power of the Past. Promise of the Future.

May 19, 2009
Boston Convention & Exhibition Center

On June 15, 1909, the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce was officially chartered – forming what was then the largest civic organization of its kind in the United States. On May 19, 2009 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, the Chamber celebrated 100 years of leadership in the Greater Boston business community.

More than 1,500 business and civic leaders from virtually every industry in the region turned out Chamber’s Centennial Celebration, making it one of the largest business gatherings of the century in Greater Boston! All of us at the Chamber thank you for your continued support of the Chamber and the community. Remember that only a community that collaborates will be able to lead beyond the horizon. Only a city that aspires to greatness will be able to inspire the next generation of leaders. Only a Chamber that commits to developing leadership will have an impact on future generations. The Chamber’s new century is officially underway, and we look forward to working with all of you to make it a success!
