These committees meet regularly with the collective goal of improving the Greater Boston region for all those who live and work here. Involvement in a committee also gives
you the opportunity to work closely with key decision makers in government.

Development Committee
Focus: Promote Development of buildings, land, and open space in ways that maximize job creation and quality of life.
Financial Services Committee
Focus: Identify competitiveness issues impacting the Greater Boston financial service industry, and then formulate policies to address those issues and work for their implementation.
Government Affairs Committee
Focus: Help direct the Chamber’s legislative strategy by working closely with government and business leaders.
Life Sciences Alliance
Focus: Advance the agenda of Greater Boston’s life sciences community, which has evolved into one of our region’s major economic engines and has enabled us to become the pre-eminent area for life science research, industry, and innovation.
Transportation Committee
Focus: Promote transportation and infrastructure initiatives that facilitate the movement of people, goods, and services throughout
