TITLE: Member Services Manager

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Business Development

SUMMARY: Seeking relationship manager to engage current members in Chamber initiatives – programs, policy, and leadership development – through extensive research, knowledge of, and outreach to member companies; and support the overall sales and retention efforts of organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement short and long-term strategies designed to engage & retain members
  • Manage assigned accounts of small to medium sized corporate members, and develop outreach plan (includes phone calls, emails, invitation to events, and onsite meetings)
  • Track and analyze member involvement through performing extensive research, reviewing involvement levels, and identifying at-risk accounts
  • Work directly with senior management team in discussing key accounts and preparing appropriate materials for member interactions (phone calls/meetings/events
  • Organize and manage quarterly Webinars for members
  • Execute monthly communications/emails to members
  • Maintain updated database
  • Exhibit deep understanding of Greater Boston business community
  • Attend all Chamber events and committee meetings, and host key members

REQUIREMENTS: 4-6 years direct experience in relationship management and/or sales.

  • College degree required.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior level executives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as multi-task, prioritize and complete projects on time.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with database management.
