Julie Gebauer

Julie Gebauer is the managing director of Towers Watson’s global talent and rewards business, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Under Julie’s leadership, the talent and rewards business has more than 2,200 practitioners worldwide. She is responsible for consulting with a number of leading global companies on a broad range of human resources issues, including executive and employee compensation, workforce strategies and solutions, and surveys and technology.

During her 23 years at Towers Watson, Julie has held multiple leadership positions. She is the executive sponsor for the firm’s 2010 Global Workforce Study, a research effort aimed at understanding the voice and drivers of the global workforce. She is also the coauthor of Closing the Engagement Gap: How Great Companies Unlock Employee Potential for Superior Results. She is a frequent speaker on the issue of global workforce management, and has taught executive education seminars at Harvard University.
