Roadmap for Success: The Critical Importance of Transportation & Infrastructure in
Massachusetts
|
Public transportation and infrastructure in Greater Boston provide vital support for our region’s economy. However, budgetary shortfalls and an aging system of roads and bridges have created tremendous challenges for the public servants who oversee the state’s network of transportation agencies.
This unique Government Affairs Forum Transportation Panel will focus on the challenges facing public transportation and infrastructure in the Greater Boston region, and offer Chamber members the opportunity to hear directly from the decision makers. Moderated by Massachusetts Transportation Secretary Bernard Cohen, panelists will include Daniel Grabauskas, general manager, MBTA; Alan LeBovidge, executive director, Massachusetts Turnpike Authority; Mike Leone, director of maritime, MassPort; and Luisa Paiewonsky,
commissioner, Massachusetts Highway Department.
